Business Traveller Africa Magazine

Business Traveller Africa

Servicing both the business traveller and the travel trade, Business Traveller Africa is the 'go-to' publication for anyone with a vested interest in business travel on the African continent.

With an average monthly print run of 8 000 copies, it's a monthly look at the latest, news, views, reviews, events and issues related to the business of corporate travel in Africa.

Included in that are topical feature subjects that address the most pertinent business travel issues, as well as informative Q & A interviews with some of the most important role-players in the business travel space, reviews of both business hotels and business class flights, city and country features and opinion pieces from some of the most informed executives in the business travel space.

Business Traveller Africa straddles that fine line between meeting the commercial objectives of the African travel trade and just being a damn good read!

Targeted at travel management companies, business travellers and buyers of business travel, BTA is distributed to business hotels, airports and airline lounges, corporate travel agents, ASATA-registered travel agencies, SAACI members and corporate travel buyers.

The bulk of the BTA distribution is in South Africa, with further distribution points – in order of size – in Nigeria, Kenya, Angola, Ghana, Mozambique, Mauritius, Zambia and Zimbabwe, totalling eight African countries, as well as dipping its toe in European waters by featuring on Lufthansa's business class flights between South Africa and Frankfurt.

In short, Business Traveller Africa reaches the people who count, from the travel buyers to the corporate executives who do the actual travelling in Africa. As a result, the magazine has made the most of its access to the industry's big hitters, leveraging off the success of the magazine to create the Business Traveller Africa Conference & Awards which takes place in Sandton, Johannesburg.

This awards event always features a conference element and not only rewards excellence in African business travel, but also creates an environment in which corporate travel executives, hotel groups, airlines, private aviation companies, car rental brands, travel agents and travel management companies can come together, network, discuss pertinent issues, and enjoy a fulfilling morning out.

Leisure at its best

South African Tourism and the Association of Southern African Travel Agents aims at encouraging local travel among a new breed of travellers who put fun back into business travel by mixing it with leisure experiences. Through this initiative business travellers will enjoy, and can select a range of specially created "bleisure" experiences and affordable travel deals.
